Street Sweeping

 Street Sweeping Information

Street sweeping has been cancelled on Thursday,

February 19, 2026, due to rain.

Help Keep Moorpark Clean and Beautiful!

Moorpark is a great place to live, and we can all do our part to keep it that way! Regular street sweeping helps remove debris, prevent pollution, and keep our neighborhoods looking their best.

Additionally, street sweeping plays a key role in protecting our storm drains. When trash, leaves, and oil build up along the curb, rain can wash them into the storm drain system — which flows directly into our creeks and oceans without treatment. Sweeping helps prevent this pollution, keeping our waterways clean and safe for everyone.

Street sweeping takes place on a set schedule in every neighborhood. While you might not see signs on every street, you’ll find a clearly posted sign at the entrance to your neighborhood showing your area’s sweeping day and time.

Not sure when your street is scheduled? Please click the following link https://moorpark.geoviewer.io/ to access the user-friendly interactive tool.  Select the Street Sweep tab in the left margin, enter your address, and quickly find your scheduled street sweep day. Example below: street sweeping

To make street sweeping as effective as possible, please remember to move your car off the street during the entire posted sweeping window. Vehicles parked on the street at any time during those posted hours may be cited, even if the sweeper has already passed, as multiple passes may be needed to ensure the roadway is fully cleaned.

Thank you for working together to help keep Moorpark clean — every small action makes a big difference!
