The City of Moorpark’s Housing Program is managed by the Community Development Department. The Housing Program implements the goals and policies of the City’s General Plan and Housing Element. The Housing Program manages market rate and affordable housing projects and initiatives. A primary goal of the Housing Program is to expand the variety of housing availability in the community to meet the current and future needs of the City’s community members. Housing Program staff coordinates with local housing developers, non-profit housing organizations, and the Area Housing Authority of County of Ventura to monitor and help develop new and preserve existing housing in the City of Moorpark.
