Not sure what to do with all the clutter? Here’s the good news: the Community Cleanup events offer a free, easy, and responsible way to clear it all out.

Accepted items include mattresses, box springs, pots and pans, barbecues, and patio furniture (see full list below).

Items not accepted include motor oil, hazardous waste material, medical waste, refrigerators, electronic waste, smoke alarms (see full list below).

The City of Moorpark hosts free Community Cleanup events for residents. These appointment-only events are held on the second Saturday of January, April, July, September, and November throughout the year.

Eligibility

This service is available exclusively to residents of the City of Moorpark. Waste generated by commercial establishments will not be accepted.

Appointments are limited to a maximum of 12 items.

Proof of City of Moorpark residency is required. Community Cleanup Events are by appointment only; walk-ins will not be accepted. 

A list of items accepted and non-accepted items will appear on the screen when you schedule your appointment. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with details.
