Event Information

The Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center offers Moorpark residents three "Free Landfill Days" each year.  At these events, Moorpark residents may drop off extra trash, bulky items, and recyclable items at no charge.

The 2020 Free Landfill Days for Moorpark residents are:

Sunday, April 19 from 10-4 - this event is canceled
Sunday, June 21 from 10-4
Sunday, September 20 from 9-3

Please note that hazardous materials, electronic waste, and biological/medical waste are not accepted at Free Landfill Days.
