Volunteer Opportunities

There are often many volunteer opportunities with the City of Moorpark’s Recreation Division!  All volunteers must be at least 13 years old.  Volunteer hours qualify for the Moorpark Unified School District volunteer requirement. 
An annual volunteer form must be completed to participate in a volunteer day.

these volunteer opportunities.
Volunteers must submit a signed volunteer form (above) prior to the event, 
or bring it with them on the event day. 
Volunteers may also bring a form for staff to verify volunteer 
hours at the end of the event.

Location: Arroyo Vista Community Park (4550 Tierra Rejada Road)
Meet at West Pavilion adjacent to Parking Lot B
Event Times: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Volunteer Times: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.


Haunted High Street
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
Location: High Street, Metrolink Lot (300 High Street)
Meet at blue carnival admission canopy
Event Times: 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Volunteer Times: 3:30 - 7:30 p.m.
