Volunteer Opportunities

There are often many volunteer opportunities with the City of Moorpark’s Recreation Division!  All volunteers must be at least 13 years old.  Volunteer hours qualify for the Moorpark Unified School District volunteer requirement.
An annual volunteer form must be completed to participate in a volunteer day.

For more information, please call the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center at (805) 517-6300.

Youth Basketball Coaches are Needed!

Our youth basketball league is made possible with the support of
community members who volunteer to coach!
Coaches commit approximately 3-4 hours/week for practices, games, and other coaching duties.
New to coaching?  No problem!  We'll give you the training tools you need to succeed!

Children of coaches receive a discount off league fees!
Click here for information on our youth basketball league.

Coaches must submit all paperwork and clear a background check prior to the player evaluation dates.

For more information on how to become a coach, please call (805) 517-6300 or email us.
