Holiday Service Hours

Christmas Eve, December 24th: Fixed Route 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; MCT On Demand 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Christmas Day, December 25th: No Service

New Year's Ever, December 31st: Fixed Route 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; MCT On Demand 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

New Year's Day, January 1st: No Service

Fixed Route Service Changes (Effective August 11, 2025)

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Moorpark City Council approved changes to Moorpark City Transit Fixed Route service. The approved changes to the Fixed Route service are the following:

• Discontinue Route 2 from the service due to low ridership, 
• Adjust the bus schedule to be better aligned with the Moorpark High School Bell Schedule, 
• Adjust service hours an hour later to 7:00 p.m. New service hour will be from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Changes are effective as of August 11, 2025.
