Temporary Bus Stop Closure of Metrolink Parking Lot Stop on High St.
Due to construction, the bus stop on High St. in front of the Metrolink Station will be closed from Monday, May 2nd through Friday, May 27th. Temporary bus stop location for Moorpark City Transit Bus Route 1 & 2 is located in front of 76 Gas Station on the southeast corner of Princeton and Spring Rd.. VCTC East County and Cross County Limited temporary bus stop is located east of Kahoots, in front of the Metrolink overflow parking lot.
Masks No Longer Required to board Public Transportation as of April 19, 2022
Following a federal court decision, masks are no longer required to board public transportation. Per CDC recommendation, masks are encouraged while riding public transportation. Our drivers will provide a mask for any passenger who request for one.
Fare Collection on all Moorpark City Transit Services Starting Monday, April 11th, 2022
Starting Monday, April 11, 2022, fare collection will resume on all Moorpark City Transit Services (Local Bus and Dial-A-Ride). Please see flyer below for fare prices.
Temporary Changes to Dial-A-Ride Services
Please read this flyer regarding temporary changes to Dial-A-Ride services, effective immediately. The City contracts with the City of Thousand Oaks for Dial-A-Ride Services and have provided the flyer regarding the temporary changes.
Moorpark City Transit Routes 1 and 2 Changes (Effective August 9, 2021)
Changes to Moorpark City Transit Route 1 and Route 2 bus service take effect Monday, August 9, 2021. The changes adjust the bus schedules and changes the trip origin/destination from Moorpark College to Moorpark Civic Center.
Los cambios de servicio de los Autobuses Ruta 1 y Ruta 2 entrarán en efecto el lunes, 9 de agosto de 2021. Los cambios ajustan los horarios de los autobuses y cambian el origen/destino del viaje de Moorpark College a Moorpark Civic Center.
Vaccination Dial-A-Ride Service (Effective May 3, 2021)
Moorpark City Transit's Local Senior and ADA Dial-A-Ride service is temporarily open for anyone regardless of age or disability to schedule a trip to a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. The Dial-A-Ride service will come to your home and take you to your Moorpark destination for the vaccination. A return trip can also be scheduled. The service is not available for "drive-thru" vaccination appointments. Service is available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, excluding City holidays. To schedule a trip call 805-375-5467. Please call the day before your appointment to schedule your trip. Fares remain suspended/trips are free.
