The Moorpark City Council requests interested persons submit an application for consideration for appointment to the Arts Commission, The appointment is to serve a two-year term to expire December 2020.
Arts Commission applicants must be a registered voter, reside within the City’s Area of Interest or within the Moorpark Unified School District boundaries or must be a business owner within the City of Moorpark. The Moorpark Arts Commission meets quarterly on the third Tuesday of February, May, August, and November at 6:00 p.m.
All applicants will be required to attend a regular City Council meeting on December 19, 2018 or one other meeting date, as yet to be determined, to make a brief presentation (not to exceed three minutes) on qualifications and interest in the appointment. Use of a PowerPoint presentation will be permitted if the City Clerk has been provided with the file no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting. Failure to make a presentation shall result in disqualification for appointment.
