CAreer Pathways is a project by the California State Library. It supports various workforce development platforms for all Californians through its local public libraries.

Coursera partners with over 200+ universities and companies to bring job-relevant online learning to individuals. Learning opportunities range from hands-on projects to certificates and degree programs. Patrons with a valid library card can sign up for Coursera through the CA State Library website. After registering, Coursera can be accessed directly at coursera.org.

GetSetUp features a catalog of over 500 classes exclusively for older adults, with more than 40 live classes every day and 25 on weekends. Subjects include Technology, Physical Health, Mental Health, Social Health, and Vocational Health. Classes are taught in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Mandarin.

VetNow services help veterans and their families prepare for college with a suite of academic tools. Users may access live, on-demand assistance from expert Job Coaches or Veteran Navigators.
