The Moorpark Little Learners Academy is a traditional preschool program held at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center. Our curriculum combines play-based learning with age-appropriate academics, guided by experienced and caring educators. Classes are available for children turning two or three by September 1, 2026. 

The Caterpillar Class is for two-year-olds.  This class provides a gentle introduction to a school-like setting. Children will work on social skills including listening, following directions, and sharing. Students will also be introduced to the basic concepts of colors, shapes, seasons, letters, and numbers. 

The Butterfly and Bumblebee Classes are for three-year-olds.  These classes are designed to develop each child’s large and fine motor skills, social skills, speech and language, and thought processes. Students will work on mastering building blocks for future learning in Transitional Kindergarten (TK), such as color, shape, number, and letter recognition. 

Registration for the 2026/27 school year is now open on a first-come, first-served basis. Open houses to tour the classrooms and meet the teachers and assistants will be held on March 23 and 24 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. and on May 27 and 28 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.
