Introducing the Clean Power Alliance

The City of Moorpark is proud to announce our community will soon enjoy the advantages of clean power at competitive rates!

Clean Power Alliance LogoStarting in February 2019 for residential customers and May 2019 for non-residential customers, Clean Power Alliance will be the new electricity provider for residents and businesses in Moorpark.

Clean Power Alliance is comprised of 31 public agencies across Los Angeles and Ventura counties working together to bring clean energy choices to our communities. Residents and businesses in our community will be enrolled into the Clean Power Alliance’s competitively-priced Clean Power rate option. Nothing else changes—Southern California Edison (SCE) will continue to deliver power, send just one bill, and be responsible for resolving any electricity service issues.

The best part is: the choice is yours! Clean Power Alliance offers three rate options designed to suit the diverse needs of our community, all of which provide high renewable content at a competitive price. Read more about rate options at www.cleanpoweralliance.org/rates. No matter what you choose, our community will soon enjoy the benefits of Clean Power Alliance including local control, stable and competitive rates, and environmentally friendly energy sources.

You will receive four notices via mail with instructions on how to choose between the different rate options along with customer support information.

You also can opt out without penalty and your electricity generation charges will remain with SCE, but we hope you will explore your new choices for renewable power at competitive rates with Clean Power Alliance!

Learn more by visiting www.cleanpoweralliance.org, emailing customerservice@cleanpoweralliance.org, or by calling Clean Power Alliance at 888-585-3788.
