City of Moorpark Facilities Status

All City facilities except for the Moorpark Active Adult Center are now open. However, we encourage everyone to visit our Virtual Counter for information about how to access City services on-line, by telephone, or by E-mail.

  • Emergency Services: The Moorpark Police Department, Ventura County Fire Department, and Moorpark Public Works Department are all fully operational.
  • Moorpark City Hall: Moorpark City Hall is open Monday-Friday as follows:
    • 8AM - 1 PM: Walk-in Service (no appointment needed)
      1PM - 4PM: Appointments only: Call (805) 517-6200 to schedule an appointment
      4PM - 5PM: Virtual Hours (Phone/Online Service Only)
    • Please call (805) 517-6200 or visit our Virtual Counter to obtain City services by phone or on-line
    • History: After closing in March 2020, City Hall was previously re-opened for walk-in service in June-July 2020 before switching to appointments-only from July 21, 2020 to January 10, 2021. Due to rising COVID-19 infections across Ventura County and among City staff, City Hall closed completely from January 11 - February 7, 2021 as the City staff began working remotely. City Hall reopened for appointments on February 8, 2021, and for walk-in service on April 1, 2021.
  • Moorpark City Library
    • The Moorpark City Library reopened on April 1, 2021, at limited capacity, consistent with state health guidelines for libraries. Please visit the library's website for current business hours.
    • You may also browse the library’s digital collections and take advantage of our curbside pickup options for our physical collections!
  • Active Adult Center: The Moorpark Active Adult Center is closed until further notice.  If you are over 60 years old and are in need of a daily meal, please call the Active Adult Center at (805) 517-6261 for home delivery options.
  • Public Parks: OPEN
  • Arroyo Vista Recreation Center: OPEN
    • The Arroyo Vista Recreation Center offices are open..
    • Staff is available by phone at (805) 517-6300 from 8:30AM - 6:00PM, Monday through Friday, to answer any program or rental related questions you may have.
    • Camp Moorpark is open.
    • The Moorpark Little Learners Academy preschool is open.
    • Recreation classes and programs are open for registration.

City Hall phone service at (805) 517-6200 is available Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM.

Here is the status of City services at this time:

  • Building & Safety, Planning, and Business Registrations: Services are available online through our Virtual Counter and in-person during City Hall business hours (listed at top of this page).
  • Food Services at Active Adult Center: If you are over 60 years old and are in need of a daily meal, please call the Active Adult Center at (805) 517-6261 for home delivery options.
  • Public Transit: Moorpark City Transit services are in operation.  For additional information concerning COVID-19 and the City Bus, please visit the City’s Ride Guide page.
  • Requests for Service: You can request services on-line or by calling (805) 517-6200, for potholes, streetlight outages, graffiti, and other maintenance items.
  • Code Compliance: You may file an on-line report at any time or by calling (805) 517-6232.
  • Animal Licenses: Animal licensing services are available through Ventura County Animal Services website.
  • Parking Violations: Parking violations may be paid in person during City Hall business hours (listed at top of this page). Parking violations may also be paid by credit card at www.parkingticketpayment.com/moorpark.. For questions about parking violations, please call (805) 517-6200.
  • Parking Restrictions:
    • Street Sweeping: The City is enforcing street sweeping parking restrictions at this time to prevent stormdrain blockages. Please check www.moorparkca.gov/StreetSweeping for updates.
    • Permit Parking Only: The City is not enforcing permit parking only requirements at this time.
