Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee

The Moorpark City Council requests interested persons submit an application for consideration for appointment to the Air Pollution Control District Advisory Committee (APCD).  The appointment is for one representative to serve a four-year term to expire January 2023.  Applicants must be a resident of the City of Moorpark and registered to vote in Moorpark.

The Ventura County Air Pollution Control District’s (APCD) Advisory Committee is an appointed body that reviews proposed rules from the APCD’s staff prior to the Air Pollution Control Board holding a public hearing on the proposed rules.  The Advisory Committee occasionally takes up other air-related issues.

The Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at the APCD offices, 669 County Square Drive, Ventura, with meetings typically lasting 1 to 2 hours.  The Committee provides the Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board with recommendations on APCD rule actions and general air pollution issues.
