3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza
The City of Moorpark is excited to announce we are hosting the
2021 "3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza"!
This event will be modified from years past, and will only be held in compliance with the state & county health and safety guidelines.
Advance ticket purchase required, no tickets will be sold at the gate.
Tickets are for admission only and do not include parking.
This event will have limited attendance, according to the health & safety guidelines in place at the time.
Tickets MUST be purchased in advance, no sales at the gate.
Tickets are $5 per person, everyone in attendance must have a ticket (children & infants included).

4:00 p.m.: Gates Open & Festivities Begin
5:00 p.m.: Musical Guest - Ignition
7:00 p.m.: Flag Presentation
7:30 p.m.: Musical Guest - Young Dempsey
9:00 p.m.: Fireworks Show
Please have your admission ticket ready to scan (printed or on your phone)
before approaching the entry gates.
Arroyo Vista Community Park is at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. The main park entrance is at the corner of Tierra Rejada Road and Countrywood Drive. You may also use the pedestrian bridge at Leta Yancy Road and Villa Campesina Avenue. PLEASE NOTE: The park will be closed to the public until 4:00 p.m. on July 3 for event preparations. Please do not attempt to enter or walk through the park before 4:00 p.m.
Parking at the event site is limited, and usually fills early. Parking for disabled persons is at the event site in Parking Lot B. Vehicles with disabled placards will be permitted to enter until all disabled parking is full, or 8:30 p.m., whichever occurs earlier. For safety reasons, please be aware that no private vehicle entry will be allowed after 8:30 p.m.
If you plan to use a rideshare service, please arrange for your drop-off/ pick-up location to be at the pedestrian bridge on Leta Yancy Road.
Parking in the surrounding neighborhoods is allowed as indicated by signs; please be mindful of the residents as you arrive and leave the event. Do not block any driveways or hydrants, and please observe the speed limit.
You are welcome to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, & picnic baskets. Canopies may not be placed within 100 feet of the stage. Trash and recycle receptacles will be located throughout the park, so please make sure to do your part to keep our park beautiful! We hope you enjoy an evening of live music, food vendors, attractions, and aerial fireworks!
For everyone’s safety, please note that BBQ’s, alcohol, smoking, vaping, fireworks, animals/pets (except service animals for the disabled), and motor homes or other oversize vehicles are NOT ALLOWED at the event.
Two food courts with multiple food offerings will be ready to serve attendees. Please note that our food courts may be smaller this year due to complications from the pandemic that impacted the food service industry. While we hope you enjoy their food, remember that you are also able to bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol allowed).

COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines:
This event may qualify as a "mega-event" per the State of California. Accordingly:
- The State of California strongly recommends that event attendees be fully vaccinated, obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending the event, or wear a face covering.
- Attendees must follow CDPH Guidance for Face Coverings.
- Attendees should be aware of the risk of attending large crowded events where the vaccine status of others in attendance may be unknown to the individuals.
